Proponents wage scary privacy war

So I wasn’t a big fan of changing an age-old word like marriage. In fact, originally I was against Referendum 74, and yes, was one of those evil people who signed a petition. Then two friends of mine who are gay showed me that hey, they should be just as miserable long term as any man and women who gets married. So I changed my mind and for them was willing to vote yes.

That was when it started — the hateful phone calls mailings, and general all around harassment from the pro-74 folks. Seems they got my name phone number and decided to wage a campaign of hate and harassment rubbing my nose daily in their agenda. Sorry, folks, how I vote is my business and now that you have decided to show me just how much you disrespect my freedoms I decided again to change my mind.

So I’m voting no and that’s a shame for my friends but I will not, and refuse to be, bullied and pressured into voting for something because a group of sick, twisted and perverted individuals who got them some scum-sucking lawyer to find a way to invade my personal privacy. So on Nov. 7 when you realize you lost, don’t blame me look in the mirror and realize if you’d just acted like civil people instead of shoving your lifestyle down my throat you might have been planning a wedding instead of your next ploy to try and pass this law.
