I see that Rep. Jim McDermott has voted against the Christmas resolution as a protest against the president’s veto of the children’s health bill. Really? Then why did he also vote for the resolutions in support of Ramadan and Diwali? Apparently there was no pressing need to protest for good old Baghdad Jim. The truly sad part of his completely illogical vote is that he really does believe that people are truly stupid and will in general accept his dumb public reasoning. The man is the genuine guru of the politically correct crowd. In the meantime, his district loves him. Perhaps that proves that old saw of “guilt by association.”
