Earlier this month I had the enormous pleasure of attending Cascade High School’s presentation of the musical “South Pacific.” I cannot express how impressed I was by the talent and professionalism of the actors and the orchestra.
Untold hours must have been devoted to rehearsals, practices and staging, not only by the students, but the teachers and the community musicians who donated their time. Cascade did as well as any professional troupe I’ve seen perform this musical. I sincerely hope all the participants are very proud of the job well done. I’m proud my tax dollars were at work here.
