On behalf of the PUD employees, I’d like to thank all of the Snohomish County citizens who gave us encouraging thoughts and kind gifts during the recent storms of Dec. 15-20. The crew I was assigned to received coffee, cookies, candy, donuts and hamburgers as thanks while we worked to restore power to our customers. A dad and his young son stopped by with the hamburgers because, as the dad said, “My son thought you all looked hungry and wanted to buy you all a hamburger so you could keep working.”
Sometimes the comments we hear aren’t real encouraging, but during the last go around, their voices were received loud and clear and we all appreciate that.
