I’ve gotten so annoyed with people complaining about “all mail balloting” that I decided to write and tell them to stop whining. I’ve been doing “mail balloting” for many years because I cannot get to the polls anymore. I worked at the polls for many years and enjoyed it very much, but since I have become older and handicapped, I’ve been voting by “absentee ballot” – what is so difficult about voting by mail? It is really very convenient. I don’t have to go out in the rain, plus I can study the issues from the paper and voter’s pamphlet so I feel it makes me a more informed voter.
Put a stamp on it, put it in the mail and forget about it. I think it’s wonderful, so please stop bickering about mail-in ballots and accept it. A 39-cent stamp is a lot cheaper than gas nowadays.
