Today’s Buzz is dedicated to the devil’s drink.
Washington has decided to allow local, craft liquor makers a little more freedom — only 75 years after Prohibition ended.
Obviously, lawmakers weren’t drinking spirits while considering the idea, because, as we all know, liquor is quicker.
While you’re waiting for craft liquors to take off, you can visit the wineries listed in a Washington state guidebook.
A small piece of advice: Leave credit cards, as well as car keys, with the designated driver. Unless you’re OK with simultaneously emptying your bank account and filling your basement with wine.
Add another item to the list of social ills created by technology. Today’s topic is iPhone-know-it-all-itis.
Common behavior includes whipping out the phone to settle any trivial debate. Nothing ends a pleasant chat over drinks quicker than someone who has all the answers. And nothing kills an iPhone faster than dropping it in the offending know-it-all’s cocktail.
