Thank you, Snohomish County Executive Aaron Reardon, for holding firm with your commitment to veto a bad ordinance by this County Council. Snohomish County Tomorrow is a public forum for our cities, tribes and county to work together for the betterment of Snohomish County. The policies that are agreed to by SCT need to be honored by our County Council, not ignored. It has been through compromise and collaboration that difficult issues have been raised and solved during 10 years of population growth. And to be successful for the future, our elected officials need and deserve the best information available on laws and planning tools. Together, elected officials and their staff must continue to work together and feel empowered for the future of Snohomish County. This County Council should know better than to try to dismantle a process of collaboration.
