I read with anticipation your The Buzz column every day; it has typically been a witty and very enjoyable way to begin reading The Herald. However, your remarks about Punxsutawney Phil in the Saturday column were not cool. You referred to the obviously tongue-in-cheek fun and funny article from Ohio, about the proposed “death penalty” to Phil for his bad forecast regarding spring. But in your Buzz column, you went way out of line when you specified the horrendous “choices” Phil could pick from, for his own death. That was in bad taste, and left me with sadness in place of the chuckles I normally have after reading your column. Please always keep in mind that there are animal lovers out here who do not like to read about “methods of execution” for animals; that is not in the least bit funny to us. Keep up your normally funny-positive attitude, and forego the pathetic anti-animal remarks, huh? Geez!
