During the last two months, at least five of my checks have not been received by the addressee. This is too many to be a coincidence. Two of these were for mortgage payments, two were credit card payments, and one other. Late charges, finance charges, and stop payments have cost me more than one hundred fifty dollars, plus my credit standing is being damaged. All of the checks were deposited in the inside mail slot at the main downtown Everett Post Office.
I have filed a complaint with the Postmaster General. If anyone has had a similar problem, please report it. It is a simple procedure.
