I want to say “thank you” to Jim Haley for many years of enhancing the pages of The Herald with the truth — the truth about life.
However, there is one thing I would like to point out about Jim Haley’s “bid adieu.” I always thought that editors and journalists did not retire. Rather, they sought semi-retirement. They stayed active in the business until that very last day.
That last day when they died at their desk, but only after typing “# # #” or, “-30 -” or, “END.”
Good luck to you, and I hope your future is healthy, happy and prosperous!
