We’re lucky in this county to be well represented on the Snohomish County Council by two excellent Republican leaders. Gary Nelson is a former Air Force officer and famous for his ability to get the people’s business done. John Koster is a third generation dairyman with a record of getting results for his community and caring about what happens to its citizens.
Then there’s Jeff Sax. Rather than being the role model of conservative ideals that Koster and Nelson represent, Sax is a black mark on the face of Snohomish County Republicans. He was in violation of county zoning laws on his property and had problems with his staff reportedly giving orders to county employees. He is Councilman Jeff Sax, we’re just tax-paying chumps.
Jeff Sax has become the relative no one will invite over for dinner, but he shows up at family reunions because technically “he’s family.” I say we get rid of Jeff Sax and elect a Republican we don’t have to be ashamed of.
