I enjoyed the Aug. 9 Herald article on the rejuvenation at The Taste of Edmonds. A new name, family oriented, new music, food trucks and back to “taste” of foods for $5!
Our Saturday journey through the gate felt like the same old Taste. Walking inside the circle of foodbooths, ( vs. outside the circle), was the only change: two trucks offered $8 to $12 plates. The only $5 offer I saw was an ear of corn.
The inside circle was dusty, rocky dirt until the torrential 20-minute downpour hit. Muddy rivers destroyed your footwear. What a mess.
Next year, put the huts of sunglasses, shirts and wind chimes in the dirt, and let us “tasters” walk on the pavement in peace.
