Do you care about kids in foster care? If your answer is yes and you would like to get involved, the program is in need of professional retired people to sit on the Foster Care Citizen Review Board for four to eight hours per week. The board is a part of the Snohomish County Juvenile Court and performs the three-, six- and nine-month reviews of kids in foster care in Snohomish County.
The focus of these reviews is how the kids are doing in care and how the parents are doing in complying with court-ordered services.
If you have the desire and the expertise to get involved please call the FCCRB at 425-388-7910. I have been a volunteer for seven years and find it a most rewarding experience.
Join us – the kids need you!
