Romney’s letter full of malarky

My wife, Marion, just received a letter, from Mitt, which explains why she should vote for him: “President Obama has stood watch over the greatest job loss in modern history.” That’s true, because of Republican malfeasance, with help from Wall Street greed.

The GOP used their credit card to amass an unbelievable debt; two wars, unchecked defense spending and corporations outsourcing jobs to China.

The GOP caused 9 million job losses, but Obama’s stimulus and helping Detroit created 5.2 million jobs, for a net difference of 3.8 million jobs just to get us back to 2008/9 when the GOP tanked the economy.

Mitt further says, “The consequence of President Obama’s policies created a deeper recession and delayed the recovery”; then says, “The consequence is unemployment, foreclosures, and bankruptcies. This is a moral tragedy; over 12 million unemployed; kids can’t go to college, marriages break up; young people can’t find work and start their lives, and men and women in the prime of their lives in fear they will never find a job again.” “Liberals should be ashamed that they and their policies have failed these good and decent Americans” (the 47 percent). He’s right, except for the blame.

Bill Clinton right now would say, “Those figures don’t add up” and he’s right. If President Obama gets 3.8 million more jobs, equaling the 9 million lost, and there are 12 million unemployed now, that means there were 8.2 million unemployed under G. W. Bush/Cheney.

There is more, but you get the idea.
