Rarely does the Lake Stevens community have the opportunity to cast a vote for a school board candidate having the perspective and experience of Roy Dotson. Roy has been a student, a parent of students, a teacher and an involved community member within the Lake Stevens School District. This unique blend of experiences will allow Roy to see and understand the wide range of responsibilities and aspects that are involved in being a board member.
I’ve found that it is easy to approach Roy and express my views to him. He is willing to listen to all sides of an issue. His excellent use of problem solving skills along with his ability to see to the heart of an issue is just one of his many strengths. I have known Roy for over thirty years and I know him to be a man of integrity. He places a high value on people and their part in our community.
In closing, I believe Roy is the best candidate for Lake Stevens School Board director, position 5, and ask you to cast your vote along with mine for him on Nov. 6.
