Jennifer Rubin’s commentary (“A president incapable of comforting a nation in grief,” The Herald, Nov. 3) was measured in tone and accurately reflected the tone-deaf lack of empathetic feeling in the current administration.
It may be the finest piece I’ve read in the newspaper for some time.
