Rules exist in the county as well

The article on dog bites by Debra Smith in the Nov. 16 Herald did not mention Snohomish County. By that omission, there was given a false impression that there is not a leash law in Snohomish County outside of city limits. To the contrary! There is a leash law in all of Snohomish County. There is a $50 fine for the first violation and $100 fine for each further violation. Please take note before more people and animals get hurt.
