I read, with no small amount of amusement, the letter about Hillary Clinton, “She’s not subject to military regulations.” Now, I will readily admit that my military service ended 30-plus years ago, but my time on active duty spanned 20 years and included several stints with top secret clearances. The safeguarding of classified information did not have separate rules for civilian and military members. The penalties are different but the rules are the same. The writer also seems to think that by contrasting past infractions by others, the secretary clears herself of blame and is as innocent as can be. After all look at them.
