What has happened to this page? It used to be a place for well thought editorials. Now the page looks more like a bathroom wall – filled with rumors, gossip and outright lies. The only thing I’ve noticed missing is, “For a good time call…”
I am especially puzzled by the tactics that Dave Somers’ followers have used to promote his candidacy. Just rip Jeff Sax apart and if you don’t have any truthful grounds to attack him on – just make something up! Rather than resorting to the childish tactics that Somers’ followers have been using, I will look at this race in a positive light and explain why I believe Jeff Sax is the best person for the job.
Jeff Sax has always been an honest man and looked out for the public’s best interest. I appreciate Jeff’s work to make sure our property taxes weren’t raised for any new government waste under his watch. Jeff has forced the county to justify every dollar it spends. He has proven that government can continue to provide the essential services and more, such as hiring over 40 additional deputy sheriffs and building a new jail, all without raising taxes. That’s leadership! Let’s keep Snohomish County on the right track. Please join me in voting to re-elect Jeff Sax to the Snohomish County Council.
