Schilaty’s skills will help city thrive

I would like to endorse Lynn Schilaty, a candidate for the City Council in Snohomish. I have know Lynn for many years. She was in my sophomore Honors English class at Snohomish High School, and her work was thoughtful and insightful. I have kept in contact with her since her graduation from Snohomish High School, and I was thrilled that she married a classmate, Alex deSoto.

The fact that they returned to Snohomish to raise their family is wonderful. Lynn has always been an attentive citizen. She knows that for a city to thrive its citizens must contribute to the common good. She has been very active in her church and in her children’s schools.

From her law school experience, Lynn knows how to research an issue thoroughly and examine the issue from many points of view. She is a master of bringing people with differing opinions together to reach consensus.

Lynn Schilaty will be a boon to the Snohomish City Council. I am extremely thankful that she is willing to dedicate her precious time to this worthy community service. She will be honest, fair, even-handed and diligent in executing her responsibilities on the City Council. Please vote for Lynn Schilaty in the upcoming election. She will serve the citizens of Snohomish well.
