I would encourage your readers who did not read the feature section titled Day Zero by Todd C. Frankel in the May 19 paper to go back and read it. Or, go online and read it. Chris and Kyra Marat let us into their lives while they tried to save their little boy Sebastian from cancer – and then as they endured his death.
The writer put us all there in the doctor’s office and the hospital where reality was faced and decisions were made as to how much pain could be endured for the hope of a cure.
Young couples have a hard enough time making ends meet without such a heavy burden. Donations may be made for the Marats’ expenses. An account has been set for Sebastian Marat at Seattle Telco Credit Union, 800 Stewart St., Seattle, WA 98101.
