Among the candidates for Washington secretary of state is Pierce County Auditor Julie Anderson, who has all of the training and experience this job requires. She is a certified elections official and has managed the elections in Pierce County for over a decade.
Past Secretary of State Kim Wyman urged the Legislature to make that office nonpartisan. Anderson is a nonpartisan candidate. She has no allegiance to any political party.
Everett has a unique opportunity, as it stands at the threshold of a new era. Voters should elect Julie Anderson to fulfill the remainder of Kim Wyman’s term.
