A Feb. 24 letter reached a new low in logic. In the letter, the writer claimed that “Bernie Sanders isn’t a socialist. He’s a democratic socialist.” That’s like saying, “I don’t have a car. I have a red car.”
The rest of the letter wasn’t much of an improvement, with claims that highways, bridges and police and fire departments couldn’t exist without the benefit of socialism.
