I think it’s overdue for our lawmakers to figure out a better sentencing order.
The Herald reported how a vile person got less tan three years in prison (“Man who raped dying Everett teen gets less than 3 years,” The Herald, Nov. 16). This person deserves life in prison without parole.
Same day, same newspaper: Headlines that three people who scamme3d money — no killing, no rape — and their sentence was five to 10 years for what they did. That sentence seems fair, the other sentence is way too short for what he did.
Lawmakers, does this really make sense to all of you?
Alyssa Noceda’s family must have had their hearts broken again, because that crud got a slap on the wrist for what he did.
He deserves a sentence so there is no chance he could do this to anyone else.
