Regarding the May 21 article, “How green is green?”:
Enough with the “he said, she said” between Hans Dunshee and the Legislative Audit and Review Committee. This could go on forever and we might never get to the bottom of whether these green initiatives work or don’t work. I throw out this challenge to one of your aggressive, investigative reporters. Find the money trail.
I can almost guarantee that if there are lucrative government contracts involved, there is a good chance that we might have some “shades of gray” going on with our tax money. We should all know what companies got these contracts and what ties they might have to any of our government employees or elected representatives that could have exercised influence over these contracts. I pray that there was no impropriety, but I would feel a lot more secure if someone did a little digging.
