Wouldn’t it be wonderful if a piece of property could be transformed into a park vs. apartments? It could happen!
South Everett is in need of a park and a community pool. Low and behold there are over 8 acres on south Broadway for sale. Debra Smith’s March 29 article informed us that developers could build multi-family housing on this former Trainland property.
Deanna Dunkin Smith’s March 31 letter to the editor planted the seed that this valuable property could be utilized as a park and community center. Kudos to this
Let’s continue to utilize this property for families to share and enjoy as it was for 50 years. Let’s protect the natural beauty that our city has to offer. The existing property has magnificent large trees and beautiful landscape.
Let’s create an environment where the entire community of all ages can come and enjoy our city of Everett.
Believe in the possibility. Share the vision. Act now to preserve our neighborhoods and our environment.
