I would like to thank the Tulalip Tribes and the Tulalip Health Clinic for their Stop Smoking Clinic. When I called the program, they didn’t ask me my race, age or tribal affiliation, only whether I was a member of the community. How refreshing. Their worker, Nadine Carter, was amazing. She provided me with nicotine patches, nicotine gum, information, pamphlets, gum, candy, games and lots and lots of inspiration. At no cost to me.
Thanks to the Tulalip Tribes and Nadine I am, after 40 years, smoke free for 2 months. What a great community service. My heartfelt thanks.
