State Representative Jean Berkey is a true asset to our community and to the state House of Representatives. In the years I have known Jean Berkey and worked with her, she has always been deeply involved in making our community a better place to live.
As an executive board member of the Medic One Foundation, Jean is committed to improve both the quality and the scope of the EMS educational opportunities available to the citizens of our community. There has been quicker recovery from illness and injury for many members of our community and more lives have been saved as a result of Jean’s efforts in supporting the fire department and the Medic One Program. Rep. Berkey has provided her common sense approach to a variety of programs, including the CPR/AED educational program for Cascade and Everett High School students, as well as supporting the expansion to include all schools in the Everett School District and other school districts in Snohomish County.
Jean is and has been involved in many other community development activities such as the Everett Community College Board of Trustees, United Way of Snohomish County and the Everett Senior Center Advisory Board.
As a State Representative, Jean Berkey has and will continue to work hard on difficult issues such as transportation, public safety, education and senior issues, as well as many other community concerns. Jean does her homework on issues. She deeply cares for our community. We need state Rep. Jean Berkey to continue her work in Olympia.
