I am very disappointed in the legal system when it comes to sex offenders. I feel that Level 3 sex offenders (those most likely to re-offend) should all be put on a deserted island to fend for themselves. They should lose all of their rights the minute they are convicted.
It is bad enough to sexually assault a woman, but children, in my eyes, do not have a chance to defend themselves. It hurts me to think that their lives are changed forever, most of them destined to be in counseling for the rest of their lives. I say we change the law to ship Level 3 sex offenders far away from our community. Maybe if we did that, people would think twice about offending!
