I almost cannot believe what I read Friday morning about the “gang attack” by the teenagers who not only intimidated sheriff’s deputies, but beat a woman not once, but twice!
Only one person was arrested after the second beating? Had I not experienced the apathy of the Everett police myself in the last few years, I might not believe it.
We do not need more laws, the police need to enforce the laws that are already on the books. Had these thugs been arrested the first time there might not have been a second time.
It doesn’t matter who breaks the law – laws must be enforced in a consistent manner.
