This letter is an enthusiastic endorsement for Sid Logan for Snohomish County Public Utility District’s 1st District.
Twenty plus years ago, I met Sid Logan at a meeting of the Arlington School Bond committee. He was new to Arlington and I was the new superintendent of schools. He had never been involved in a campaign, but had done his research and was convinced the students needed new schools. He jumped in to help and quickly became our expert on how we could get information to everyone in the community. Sid later came to work for the school district and eventually became the director of operations.
Sid has an inquisitive mind and an engineers’ dedication to accurate data and efficiency. He starts by studying the issues to inform himself and then he asks why? Is this the best option? Is this the result we want?.
When I heard Sid had been appointed to the PUD commission in March 2017, I was delighted. I knew he would approach this new challenge the same way he applied his training to meeting the challenges of operations in a school district.
He studies. He evaluates. He challenges the status quo.
Sid will be our voice for an efficient and environmentally sound PUD.
