Simoneaux column speaks the truth

Thank you for printing Larry Simoneaux’s Dec. 11 column, “At the risk of offending, let’s err on the side of safety.” Some people would say these ideas are not politically correct and, therefore, should not be stated. But it’s reality! There is an ethnic/religous pattern with many terrorist events in recent years.

I’m sure you will hear from more people complaining about his column than praising it, because the “P.C.” crowd tends to be vocal.

I used to read Larry’s columns in the Mukilteo Beacon and am very pleased that The Herald lets him spread common sense to the whole county.
