As a small business owner, my business offers health care for employees who have been with us for 90 days. With the cost of health care going up and the only way to save on health insurance is to eliminate the coverage for employees or lay off employees, I feel like my hands are tied.
We need a choice between a private insurance policy and a public health insurance plan. This will be one way that we can get our health insurance costs down. We need the members of Congress to get going on this and make things happen instead of wasting any more time.
The success of small business is what is going to turn this economy around and we need all of the help that we can get, starting with the reform of the health care system.
