Regarding the news item, “Gov. Gregoire signs executive order aimed at helping small businesses”: Obviously this is some kind of sick joke. Governor “orders” small business help. You have at least one small business guy laughing.
I have gone to the Small Business Adminiatration many times; filling out the paperwork is a “job” in itself. The state of Washington has no intention of helping small businesses. My patented product, the showergutter, didn’t even get a look from the SBA, not even after everyone in the office and at least two people waiting in line bought the product.
I am simply looking for investors and am in no way representing a corporation or business. You see, I am such a small person I need money to get licensed and/or a business license, so how exactly does the SBA work? Do you need, like $100,000, to qualify to borrow $90,000?
Rather than SBA, don’t you mean BBA, Big Business of America?
