It was a big win for all of us in Snohomish and Island counties when we passed the Sno-Isle Libraries levy.
Thanks Sno-Isle! On Saturday the Sno-Isle Bookmobile visited the Oso Fire Station. Thanks, Sherry Pam and Kristi, for selecting outstanding and diverse materials, a huge DVD collection, audio books, books for children and adults, magazines, and even a book in Japanese. They chose the newest and the best. Library cards were issued!
I checked out a J.A. Jance mystery , the CD “Killing Patton” by Jack O”Reilly and “Treasury of Bluegrass” — and more! I save $142.95 by not buying or renting. Once I saved almost $200 when I checked out eight books on bathroom remodeling. I now have a book on reserve, “Alive Inside.”
I use the online “Overdrive” audio services daily! Yesterday I listened to Agatha Christie’s “Taken at the Flood.”
Many children and adults who had never been on a bookmobile were delighted and excited about the diverse collection of materials on the “Library on Wheels.” The Bookmobile is one of the many service offered by the Sno-Isle Regional Library.
