Snohomish barber has no right to threaten others’ health

It amazes me the intellectual ignorance of the citizens of our country and county. Our sheriff says he will not enforce law, a barber says he will not stop cutting hair. Gun-toting extremists protest and intimidate. Wonder what the reaction would be if people of color were seen carrying guns in public and demanding their rights under the Constitution.

One wonders if they have read or understand its meaning. They may have or had someone tell them what it means. Unfortunately, people can twist the meaning to support their personnel ideology and manipulate those with less intellectual curiosity to understand its meaning. The fact is the current situation we find ourselves in is a health issue and has nothing to do with your constitutional rights. I have not been able to find any passages that relate to your rights and public health. To inflate the rights in our constitution to the right to affect my health by ignoring basic protections that keep us safe is very selfish. I do not wish this virus on anyone but had a conservative friend wish it on liberals. That is the level of discourse from our conservative brothers and sisters.

I hope the Snohomish barber keeps track who has entered his petri dish, so if someone becomes sick, they can be quarantined to protect the rest of us. And God forbid if someone becomes ill he will feel contrite enough to admit he was wrong as loudly as he claims his constitutional right to be thoughtless.
