Democrat lawmakers in Washington are tyrants.
With their majority in the House, Senate and the governor’s mansion, they are doing whatever they want with no restraint. Their latest tyranny is to outlaw our use of cell phones in our cars.
I think the majority of citizens do not want this freedom-robbing law, but the Democrat powers that be don’t care what we want, only what they think is good for us little subjects.
I expect that since I possess a driver’s license that I will keep my vehicle under control at all times, and I hope that other licensed drivers do the same. It is called being an adult citizen.
I only dial my phone when at a stop sign, and I think I can handle driving and talking at the same time, thank you.
Last year I told my supposed representatives: Paull Shin, Mary Helen Roberts and Brian Sullivan, to keep their hands off our freedoms, and no cell phone law. Yet, all three lawmakers voted to restrict our freedom by prohibiting cell phone use in our vehicles.
Three months ago I saw a driver applying eye makeup while driving 20 mph on southbound I-5. Her numerous bumper stickers told everyone that she was a liberal, Democrat voter. Yet Shin, Roberts and Sullivan haven’t outlawed driving by makeup-applying liberal drivers.
I hope we citizens will vote out the ill-conceived politicians next time, and reverse their tyranny.
