Some leaders’ children do serve

I read the Julie Muhlstein column (Wednesday, “The burden Iraq falls on the shoulders of our kids”) and when I got to the end, I felt I needed to write this. To answer her final question … “Enough to send their own kids?” Gen. David Patraeus has a son who finished airborne training this month and when he graduates from MIT General Petraeus expects his assignment after further combat arms training will either be to Iraq or Afghanistan. Does that answer her question?
