I find it most telling that the present administration finds it so easy to send the youngest and finest of our country to war, yet they cannot understand abortion rights of its youngest and finest citizens.
The current debate over the rights of a woman to have access to a safe and life-saving procedure pales to the possible thousands of deaths brought on by the hawks’ saber-rattling. If only one of those men (and some holier-than-thou women) ever bothered to put their feet into the shoes of a woman who has had to have an abortion, they may leave the personal choice of women alone.
That would free up a lot of their time to concentrate on the bigger picture of peace for the world, or not …
I dare say, if any of them ever has a female family member or close friend who, for whatever reason, finds herself pregnant, they would be the first in line to pull money out of their pocket or checkbook or cash in a C.D. to pay for a legal abortion if needed.
So, you folks who aren’t on the government payroll, but pay the salaries of those who are (and who think they are voting the conscience of their district or state, etc. by abolishing abortion rights) when you get into the booth to vote your conscience, think before you vote for the politician who wants to play at running women’s lives.
