I had many thoughts Monday while pondering this holiday. I wondered how many people only think of it as a day off work. How many have marched in anti-war parades and protests, supporting the oppressed people of “Palestine” (a fictitious place that has never existed on any map).
How many have fallen for the lie of a peaceful Islam, whose hateful holy book commands them to use any means, including making “Hudna” (non-binding agreement if made with a non-Muslim, so outright deception). Anything is acceptable if it helps them attain world control in the name of Allah, including killing anyone who does not accept Islam. It’s in print. Read it!
Have you yourself protested against the very soldiers who are risking their lives to protect our freedom over in the Arab countries who call us “the great Satan”? If so, shame on you! We have bankrupted our country with our wishy-washy approach to what is loosely referred to as freedom of speech. We have allowed anti-Americanism to flourish and will pay a price for that.
My father and his father fought for the freedom you and I have. They were proud of their country, their flag and their Constitution, and so am I. On Memorial Day, knowing that our Constitution and country are under attack on so many levels, I will say a prayer over our troops, thanking the true God our country was founded on and asking for His protective hand on those who have fought and are fighting to stop evil and terror from spreading. As I drive down the country road I live on, I will look over at the plot of land on which a neighbor has planted a multitude of American flags, and feel proud that there are still some of us who remember the ones who valued this country enough to fight for it. Thank you neighbor! Thank you soldiers! Thank you God!
