Dave Somers deserves re-election to the Snohomish County Council. Dave has earned the respect of his peers, being elected as council chairman in his first term of office.
He has brought county government out of the shadows of past undue influence by the large housing industry and provided a balance between growth and quality of life. Dave has supported both clarifying high-density housing rules and increased funding for staff to process building permits. He’s voted for both gradual, phased development and maximized road funding. Dave has asked to hear our concerns through evening public meetings throughout the county.
His guidance as a fair and experienced council member is needed in these uncertain economic times. As we saw one year ago, every vote counts. Let’s vote for a man with a proven record of caring and leadership: Dave Somers.
