Kudos to Emily Barney! (Monday’s “Super Kid.”) A motivated young woman who has her head in the real world. She has a great academic record, she is holding down a job, she is borrowing a prom dress, she has community college aspirations before taking on university life, and hopes to spend time traveling. I don’t even know this girl and I like her.
Great job, parent(s) of Emily Barney. Seems a shame to lose such a grounded girl to Santa Cruz.
