The surest way for Sound Transit to regain the public’s trust would be to fire their director and its politically connected board.
Placing Alison W. Sing (April 5 letter to the editor, “Compensate ST3 taxpayers with ORCA card”) as director of Sound Transit would go a long way toward restoring the public’s confidence. I have worked in public transit 38 years. His letter in was rational; recognized the importance of regional public transportation and forward thinking. I would be proud to serve as unpaid member of her board.

Correction: The above letter to the editor has been changed to correct the reference to Alison Sing’s gender; he is male.
