State must overhaul registration system

Enough is enough! A dog registered to vote; a non-American citizen rapist felon registered to vote; and now 1,800 nonexistent people registered to vote? As with all crimes, those who are caught are only the tip of the iceberg.

We need a complete overhaul of the voter registration system. We need to re-register or validate everyone who has registered. To register to vote in other states you must have a birth certificate, valid state ID and several other pieces of actual ID. Most states take voter registration seriously. In Washington state you only need to mail in (or have someone else deliver) a copy of a current photo ID (Costco card?), a current utility bill, a bank statement or a paycheck. Does any of that information prove that you are a U.S. citizen? That you are not a felon or have otherwise lost your right to vote? No, they don’t.

Many banks give bank accounts to illegal aliens, thereby providing a path to illegal felony voting, as well. I am completely disenfranchised by the flood of illegal voters and potential for fraud and demand that the state fix this, although I doubt that those in charge will, since it is these illegal voters that have kept them in power.
