Well, all Randy Sedy gets for killing a beautiful young woman is six years. What a joke! He needs to be serving a life sentence; after all, he took a life. We need to contact our lawmakers. Let’s use our voices, people, to get harsher penalties for the stupid decision of drinking and driving.
Randy Sedy knew what he was doing was wrong; yet he still did it. Result: He killed someone. He will get out in six years or earlier and go on with his life. Can Meghan do that? I have written my lawmakers, and will keep doing it until changes are made.
I’m still in shock that he got a lighter sentence than the Barefoot Bandit. Although what the Barefoot Bandit did was horrible, no death was involved. Yet, he got a longer sentence. We have some messed up laws in place. It does not take Einstein to figure out changes are needed.
My thoughts are with Meghan’s family. What a pathetic sentence for a drunk taking a life.
