State Supreme Court needs to be cleared out

Did anyone anywhere in the state believe that the Supreme Court of this state would rule in favor of voters and taxpayers? (“State high court upholds Sound Transit vehicle excise tax,” The Herald, Feb. 13) No, neither did I. Our state Supreme Court truly hates the initiative process and resents its presence in the state constitution.

They could have mailed this decision in since we all knew it was coming. Add to that the Tim Eyman factor and no matter how worthy an initiative is, it is doomed in the all-knowing eyes of the court. When are we, the voters, going to pay attention to what the court does and vote them out of office as they come up for reelection? We have the ability to put an end to this nonsense. Vote them out.
