I want to thank you for your editorial and also commend the people you listed for getting 2-1-1 service started. The 2-1-1 phone number will do a much better job of hooking people up with needed human services and save taxpayers money through efficiency.

One of the frustrations of my job is that people feel they don’t know where their state tax money goes. Therefore I must point out that state taxpayers, through the Legislature, put $1 million this year into getting 2-1-1 service going across the state – money well spent for a great service.
