Last Saturday, the young ladies of the Everett High School soccer team won the Washington State Championship. For the coaches, parents, grandparents and, most importantly, fellow students, it was something to be proud of, but for those young ladies, it will be something to remember for the rest of their lives, or at least 25 years from now when they are reading the section in The Herald, “Seems Like Yesterday.” Some will see it, some may not; some might shed a reminiscent tear and others might just wonder where the time went. Regardless, they will always have those memories, if they choose to save them.
Way to go, coaches, trainers and all other student athletes who participated in fall sports!
