The Herald recently endorsed Mike Pelliccotti for state treasurer due to Duane Davidson’s appointments to various committee’s on which the he has a seat (“Pellicciotti best choice for state’s treasurer,” The Herald, Oct. 9).
This seems like a non-issue, as previous state treasurers have been utilizing staff in these roles for years and seems like partisan politicking on what should be a largely non-political role. If there was ever a time when experience in fiscal management is required it is now. That is why Davidson is getting my vote and should get yours.
