With King George and his minions tragically wasting American lives for oil and some pseudo-psychological attempt to square things with his daddy, it should come as no surprise to read that three state GOP lawmakers are comparing stem cell research to the horrors of experimentation by the Nazis during the Holocaust (“Holocaust remarks prompt survivor to demand apology,” March 23).
As anyone with even the remotest ability to grasp the concept of abstraction can show support for our brave troops and not support the war itself, one should also be able to see that stem cell research is about saving and improving lives, while the Holocaust was about ending them.
